2009 Season Rates

Charter rates are based on days of diving. Example: Saturday arrival with the following Saturday disembarkation is 6 days of diving. Dive trips can begin and end on any day of the week.

The Charter Rate posted is for a full group "Charter" (Four double cabins). Additional discounts may be available at certain months during the year or from certain ports of departure. Contact our office for details. Individuals wishing to join a scheduled dive trip are encouraged to contact our office for a referral to the appropriate group. Pricing for individual participation in a group charter is determined by the group organizer, dive shop or club. Occasional "Captains Special" dive trips are open for direct booking through our office. "Captain's Special" dive trips will be posted on the schedule page with the trip details and individual price.

The Bahamas charter tax of 4% must be added to the above rates.

A daily "Food/Fuel surcharge" fee is added to the basic charter Rate. This surcharge is not subject to the 4% charter tax and varies by which port (Great Exuma or Nassau) from which we are re-supplying a specific trip; remote supplies are more expensive.

These rates include all meals, diving facilities, fuel, docking charges and all other items for a trip except: air fare to the Bahamas, taxis to the Nassau Harbour Club, gratuity, diving/chamber insurance (we highly recommend DAN), trip insurance (try Travelex and Dive Assure), equipment rentals, certification or specialty courses, hotel stays/day rooms, and the meal on first night.

Drop off your gear during the day. Boarding intro lecture at 8 pm; disembark morning at end of trip.

Individuals wishing to join one of the scheduled trips should contact our office by e-mail or phone for a reference to the group that has chartered the "Sea Dragon". Individuals will often end up contacting the group organizer directly for availability and cost per person.

Gratuities: Tipping the crew is voluntary and should reflect your satisfaction with the trip. A 10% - 15% gratuity is regarded as very generous.
